Bailey’s Day Foundation Limited
Bailey’s Day Foundation Limited is the charitable organisation behind Bailey’s Day and is a registered Australian charity with DGR1 status.
In 2026, Bailey’s Day transitioned from an annual fundraising event to a charitable foundation with the goal of creating a permanent legacy supporting children’s cancer care, research and training.
Bailey’s Day began more than twenty-three years ago as a single day of golf and goodwill. The Foundation exists to make sure the impact of that day doesn’t depend on a calendar – or on any one person – and that Bailey’s legacy continues to do what it was always meant to do: help children with cancer get expert care, when they need it most.
“Bailey’s journey at Monash began in a makeshift facility out the back of the children’s ward. Thanks to the heartfelt generosity of many, the Monash Children’s Cancer Centre is now a leading facility in the treatment of children’s cancer.”

Our Mission
To protect Bailey’s legacy by supporting the Fellowship Program we fund – helping train the next generation of children’s cancer doctors, long into the future.
Childhood cancer care depends on highly specialised expertise, and that expertise takes years to build. The Foundation exists to help strengthen that pipeline, so families aren’t just relying on hope – they’re supported by the right people, with the right training, when it matters most.
We don’t just sustain what Bailey’s Day began – we help future-proof it. Because when a child is diagnosed tomorrow, there should be an expert doctor ready to help: trained, supported, and backed by a community that refuses to look away.
Because care can’t wait… and neither can the expertise that delivers it.
What We Support
Over the past 23 years, thanks to the generosity and unwavering support of our community, Bailey’s Day has raised over $5.5 million. These funds have supported vital cancer services and treatment programs at Monash Children’s Hospital, including groundbreaking research into brain tumours and solid tumours to help find a cure for brain cancer.
Transparency
We believe trust is earned in the daylight.
As an ACNC-registered charity, the Foundation is required to submit an Annual Information Statement each year (and, depending on size, a financial report). You can view our public record and reporting via the ACNC Charities Register.
