The Day
Patrick Tessier founded Bailey’s Day after his two and half year-old son, Bailey, sadly lost his tough battle with an aggressive brain cancer.
The annual charity golf day, luncheon and auction has been an important fixture on the community calendar for the past 20 years, with regular attendees who eagerly await the day and donate every year.
The generosity from the community over the years has seen over $4 million raised with all funds going on to help the Monash Children’s Hospital expand its cancer services and provide more support for vital medical positions and financing critical research into finding a cure for brain cancer.

The Golf Event
Bailey’s Day begins with a field of determined golfers, all vying to have their names engraved on the famous Bailey’s Day Glass Bear.
The course sees additional donation moments at a few holes, through friendly competitions and raffles and sip of the iconic ‘Franks Weir’s Golf Elixir’, named in honour of a long-time Bailey’s Day supporter.
The Charity Luncheon & Auctions
The famous Bailey’s Day luncheon follows the golf.
Many iconic special guests have graced the stage over the years, with countless moving stories and inspiring performances shared.
The hugely anticipated live auction sees attendees place bids for some impressive and generously donated prizes, raising an incredible amount of funds every year.
The silent auction plays out alongside, always achieving amazing results.
